XI·I · Hermes's Nature and Deeds
THE DAY-ZERO EXPLOIT
Apollo drags the day-old thief before Zeus. Hermes sits on his father's knee and lies to the king of the gods with the fluency of a senator: I'm a baby. I was born yesterday. Literally. Zeus laughs, not because the lie works but because the audacity does. The system does not punish the trickster. It hires him.
The one who knows how to break every rule is the one you want enforcing them.
