THE MOONBERRY TREE

A coming-of-age fairytale of forest friends, in the last summer before they grow. Lila the bunny, Finn the fox, Maxwell the wolf cub and Piper the mouse are lying in the golden clearing when Finn says it out loud — this is their last summer together. Then Harlow the hawk brings a secret carried down from the canopy: on the last full moon, deep in the woods, the MoonBerry Tree blooms.

They make the night journey together — small creatures crossing a dark forest, minding each other over roots and streams — and find the tree waiting in a clearing, glowing. Under it they get one last dance before dawn, and a silent, bittersweet understanding: childhood is ending, and friendship can outlast the season that made it.
